Abby Lee Miller Just Stood Up From Her Wheelchair And Showed Off Her Jazz Hands

  • Abby Lee Miller celebrated a health milestone in a new Instagram video.
  • The meaningful moment showed the Dance Moms star practicing some new moves and standing on her own.
  • Since her cancer diagnosis, Abby has been using the social media platform to share her journey to recovery.

In the video, Abby takes a moment to straighten her shirt and take a deep breath before taking her hands off her walker to show off her new moves. “Fists, jazz hands, claw, cup and flip!” she says in the video as she demonstrates the moves. “No hand! Standing,” she continues and leaves the audience with a huge grin and a thumb’s up. While the camera doesn’t pan far enough down to see her feet, this is still a huge milestone worth celebrating.

“So yesterday this happened—like my jazz hands? Sorry the therapist’s assistant didn’t know where my feet were?!?!” she captioned the post.

Since battling a rare form of cancer, Abby has been using social media to document her steps to recovery. Spinal surgery left Abby with limited mobility, and she spent a year in a wheelchair before finding a physical therapist to get her back on her dancing feet. Fans cheered on her latest accomplishments in the comments, leaving her hearts and fist bump emojis.

“She’s able to hold her self up with her legs alone omg!!! 💕💕💕 keep going abby u can do this,” one wrote. “You are the strongest person I know! Love you so much 💕💕” another commented.
