Cheating man insists lover’s bedroom snap is ‘old’ – but Twitter users catch him out
The man’s eagle-eyed girlfriend spotted the image when she was scrolling through Twitter.
Realising her boyfriend’s distinctive tattoos matched those of the bloke in the picture, she worried she was being cheated on.
She tweeted: “B**** I’m livid.
“My boyfriend really rolling around Twitter with another b****…
“He claims this (is) an old pic. I just want receipts.”
Thankfully, Twitter sleuths were on hand to help the scorned girlfriend out.
Many didn’t buy the chap’s excuse – and one pointed out that the photo couldn’t be an old one.
One responder pointed out that the magazines pictured in the background were very recent.
They explained: “Well sis, judging from one of them magazine covers early 2019.
“THAT’S the February issue.”
Meanwhile, another online detective discovered it was an Aloft hotel and urged the lass to check her partner’s bank statements.
When the story went viral on social media, Twitter users were pretty pleased that they’d cracked the case.
One commented: “Omg Twitter is a bunch of detectives.”
Another said: “Police need to start posting about cold cases on Twitter.”
A third asked: “How many episodes of Law & Order do you have to watch to be able to date a picture from a magazine cover?”
