Haylie Duff: Hilary’s Ex Mike Comrie Is ‘Very Close With Our Family’

One happy blended family! Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie are experts when it comes to coparenting, according to the singer’s sister, Haylie Duff.

“Mike is great. He’s still very close with our family, so I think it makes it easy for everybody to coparent or cofamily,” the Little Moon Society children’s clothing designer, 34, told Us Weekly exclusively on the set of Hallmark’s Home & Family in Universal Studios Hollywood on Monday, April 22. “Because at the end of the day, it’s about Luca and what’s best for him and we love Mike.”

The Younger actress, 31, and former NHL star, 38, welcomed son Luca in March 2012. Hilary and Comrie, who wed in 2010, called it quits after four years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in February 2016.

Haylie told Us on Monday that she is in disbelief by how fast Luca, now 7, is growing.

“I don’t even know what’s going on!” the Real Girl’s Kitchen Opens a New Window. founder said. “He’s literally like, he’s a gigantic child. He’s gonna be taller than Hilary soon I think.”

After a brief relationship with personal trainer Jason Walsh, Hilary started seeing her current boyfriend, Matthew Koma. The Disney Channel alum and musician share 5-month-old daughter Banks.

“He’s great. He’s so sweet,” Haylie told Us of Koma. “Yeah, he’s wonderful. He’s just very easygoing and he’s great.”

The 7th Heaven alum also noted that her 9-month-old Lulu daughter, whom she shares with fiancé Matt Rosenberg, is already “homies” with her new cousin.

“They really like to just sit there and look at each other and sort of poke at each other and play with each other’s’ toys and stuff,” Haylie told Us. “We always wanted was to have our kids grow up together so when she had Luca, and I was nowhere near ready to have kids, we sort of were like, ‘Maybe we’re not going to have that happen?’ And then now this second time around, it’s been nice because they’re all really little still together.”

Haylie also shares daughter Ryan, 3, with Rosenberg.
