Beyoncé's Take on Two-Tone Hair Is So Approachable
Every once in a while, a social media post praising Beyoncé's dark hair will go viral as people reminisce the days when she had chocolate-brown hair. Granted, the Beyhive will go hard in praising the Queen no matter what hair color she's wearing. But for years, Bey has mostly been loyal to blonde, whether it be in the form of simple highlights or a gorgeous ombré. Her most recent take on the hair color incorporates a honey-blonde hue with a darker brown in a subtle two-toned moment.
Beyoncé shared not one but three different posts to show off her gorgeous hair on September 9. Five days earlier, the Virgo [LINK TO ZODIAC PERSONALITIES] turned 40 years old, so perhaps this was the look she wore to celebrate her birthday. Her hairstylist, Neal Farinah, decided to give her lengthy curls that cascade towards her waist rather than sleek, straight hair. He gave this hair a middle part, which allows you to see the different shades running throughout. The very front looks like a mix of honey- and golden-blonde hues that frame her face beautifully.

The rest of the hair incorporates distinctly contrasting brown colors. There's a cinnamon hue that runs throughout most of the curls and pairs well with the lighter blonde. Her roots are a deep brown shade that fades seamlessly into the blonde and cinnamon hues for an effortless ombré effect.
Of course, the icon's makeup is flawless as well because, duh, it's Beyoncé. Her skin looks radiant, as always. There's a sliver of a black cat-eye that you can see on the fourth slide of the Instagram carousel. But the main event is the bold matte red lipstick she's wearing. Is it Fenty Beauty's Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored, the iconic MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo, or another shade entirely? We don't really know, but it looks phenomenal.
It could be a while before Beyoncé returns to brown hair. It also may never happen, no matter how much fans miss the hair color. But one thing is true: Beyoncé sure does know how to slay blonde hues.
