Halsey Debuted Bright Blue Hair and Mismatched Eye Shadow in a New Makeup Tutorial
Halsey has been changing up her hair what feels like every week now — but hey, we're not complaining. It's super-fun to see the singer switch up her look so often, and she's been doing so easily with various different wigs, including the platinum blonde number she wore most recently. This weekend, though, the pop star is sporting a neon blue look with bangs, which she casually revealed in a makeup tutorial using products from her new brand, About-Face.
Halsey posted said tutorial on IGTV this Friday, January 15, with the caption: "about-face playtime !!!! Did a quick look on live today with my favorite @aboutfacebeauty products ?⚡️." In the nearly hour-long video, she creates a stunning abstract look featuring mismatched eye shadow (that slime green shade!), a lightning bolt drawn under her right eye, and a terracotta nude lip.
The "Without Me" singer revealed all of the products she used both in the tutorial itself, as well as on her Instagram Stories. On her eyes, she used the brand's Shadowstick in shades Acidic (slime green), 2002 (gray-blue), Creature (bright blue), and Kill the Lights (matte black). Additionally, she used the Matte Fluid Eye Paint in shades Lost Unfound (navy), White Noise (true white), and Smoke Signal (forest green).
As for her lips, she used her Matte Fix Lip Pencil in the Clockwork, followed by the Paint-It Matte Lip Color in Nudist Judas.
Unfortunately, Halsey didn't reveal the mastermind behind her brilliant blue wig — however, her go-to hair guy Martin-Christopher Harper may have had something to do with it. After all, he was responsible for her most recent blonde look, as well as the rainbow wig she wore a few months back.
Hair aside, we're in love with this high-voltage look on Halsey and hope she continues to surprise us with more epic beauty looks this year.
