Lizzo's Head Full of Gucci Clips Is Probably Worth More Than My Rent… for the Year

The image of Lizzo absolutely killing it while wearing Gucci hair clips at the house's fashion show on Hollywood Boulevard lives in my head absolutely rent-free. Then again, doesn't that go for everyone? The clips themselves, however, definitely cost more than my rent for the entire year. So, unlike Lizzo, these Gucci clips couldn't live rent-free on my head. 

The singer posted several photos and a video on Wednesday, November 3, showing off the decadent hair clips that she wore at Gucci's Love Parade on Tuesday, November 2. Lizzo's video provides a 360-degree view of the hair ensemble, which includes several clips shaped like finely cut jewels placed among several other clips smattered with or shaped like the brand's logo. We're not exactly sure how many of these clips rested on the singer's head, but we'd say that it's probably close to 10. 

Meanwhile, in the first photo of her carousel, she gives an up-close-and-personal look at the clips on the front of her head. The fashion brand's overlapping signature Gs made out of what seems to be pearls are certainly the standout. 

Hairstylist Shelby Swain was responsible for bedazzling Lizzo's hair with these hair clips that could easily double as works of art on display at the Met. Swain also paired these clips with some finely curled edges and braids that extend all the way down to the back of Lizzo's head.

Instead of marveling at the works of art — aka the Gucci hair clips — Lizzo was the art. Even though some may say that wearing designer logos may look "cheugy," Lizzo proves that wearing Gucci's logo head to toe is anything but.
