We wanted to share what one of our Teacher Supply Box recipients said about what these new supplies mean to her classroom: "So very thankful to @kidsinneed for the boxes of school supplies! I teach at a school with a 75% poverty rating. So many of our students come to school without basic needs being met. School supply costs can be out of reach for so many families. I typically buy 5 complete sets of supplies and lots of extras to start my year off. These new supplies will ensure that the students in my school have what they need to be successful. I’ve sent an email to all teachers to send kids my way if they are in need of supplies. Student success or failure should not be influenced by how many pencils they can afford to bring to school. Thank you @kidsinneed for evening the playing field". Thank you teachers for supporting your students every day!
