Number of new infections decreases, three States with no new cases – but R-value only slightly below the critical value

The Covid-19-pandemic keeps the world in breath. More than 11 million people have been infected with the novel Coronavirus, 196.104 of them in Germany. The disease Covid-19 has already claimed over half a Million deaths already.

The number of confirmed Corona-infections has risen in the past 24 hours about 200, wherein from Baden-Württemberg, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Bavaria on Sunday, no actual Numbers were reported. Overall, the country will have health and welfare ministries, therefore, since the beginning of the epidemic 196.304 cases have been reported. The number of unfortunate deaths now stands at 8.986. With Hamburg, the Saarland, and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, three provinces remained without any reported Neuinfekion from Saturday to Sunday.

The number of acute Infected (active cases) fell to the 5,618. The reproduction value, however, is 0.93 on the day before to 0.96 for getiegen. He remains only just below the critical level of 1.0.
