Hayfever sufferers claim this Boots product leaves you with no symptoms

As all hay fever sufferers will attest, itchy eyes and constant sneezing can really put a dampener on the summer.

Most people load up on antihistamine tablets, avoid freshly cut grass and hope for the best.

But a Twitter user sparked interest among sniffly sufferers, when they claimed to have found a miracle remedy for the allergy that didn’t involve popping pills.

Tweeting under the account @ajile, they said: “Hayfever sufferers, I’ve been using this for a few days and I have NO symptoms. 

“I’ve been sleeping well too.  RT to save a life.”

Accompanying the tweet was a picture of a Boots product, “Allergy Barrier” which is described as a nasal spray powder.

According to the Boots website, Allergy Barrier is “a clinically proven nasal powder spray that delivers fast, effective protection against hayfever and other airbourne allergens.

“The product contains a blend of cellulose and peppermint which acts as a barrier to airbourne allergens, treating the cause therefore helping prevent the symptoms.”

 

The product is also marketed as being non-drowsy, something many antihistamine users struggle with. 

Fellow Twitter users also chipped in to also sing the product’s praises. 

One agreed:”I’ve used this for years, best thing out there.”

Others expressed their gratitude for the recommendation with one user quipping: “A bright day in the war against pollen.”
