Mama June Appears To Be In A Dangerous Downward Spiral In New Video Clip

To say June Shannon (a.k.a. “Mama June” from TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo) has had a rough few months, is a serious understatement. In a new video clip from TMZ, the reality star appears to be hitting rock bottom. June, 39, has a mouthful of decaying, broken teeth and is shown collapsing in the street.

It’s unclear what happened to June’s teeth, but the American Addiction Centers notes thattooth decay can sometimes be linked to drug use, which Mama June has allegedly struggled with in recent months.

To recap: In March, June and her boyfriend Geno Doak were arrested and are now facing drug charges. Following the arrest, June was supposed to keep her distance from Geno, but she doesn’t seem to be following orders. June’s also has been spotted spending time and money at the slot machines at a casino in Alabama, per TMZ.

June’s struggles are hitting her family hard, too. Her daughter Alana (a.k.a. Honey Boo Boo) had to move in with her sister and everyone in the video is emotional.

In the video, Alana is clearly distraught and breaks down crying. “Do you not understand that I am staying with my sister and it’s not by choice,” Alana pleads with her mom during the family intervention.

The family recruited on-camera expert Dr. Ish Major, a relationship psychiatrist, to help June get her life back on track. However, it doesn’t look promising when June storms out of the house. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to watch. “If this intervention doesn’t work, she’s either going to wind up in jail or she’s going to die,” Pumpkin, June’s other daughter, says in the video.

June doesn’t offer viewers much hope either with her parting words. “I hate my f***ing self,” she says in the video. “I want to f***ing kill the person that I am now.”

This clip is only a sneak preview of the Mama June From Not to Hot: The Road to Intervention episode, so I’m holding onto hope of a happy ending. June has turned her life around before, and with her family’s help the reality matriarch can surely do it again.
