People Are Mummy-Shaming Kim Kardashian Because Of North's Huge Hoop Earrings
Kim Kardashian is arguably one of the most famous women in the world, and when you live your life as publicly as she does you’re no doubt open to criticism. And for many of the Kardashian-Jenner clan – including Kourtney, Khloé and Kylie – it’s the mummy-shamers that come out in full force.
Kim is the latest to come under fire after she posted a sweet picture with her 6-year-old daughter, North, on their vacation. While the caption “besties for life” warrants a sweet response, some followers didn’t like that North was wearing giant hoop earrings in the photo.
It didn’t take long for the negative comments to start rolling in. “Cute but those giant hoops for a little girl ?? She’s not even 11 yet ??♀️,” one person wrote. “Ok I never say anything bad regarding anyone’s kids, but, North has no business wearing hoops that big at what, 6? They’re gonna pull on her little holes,” another commented. “Why is she wearing hoop earrings??? She doesn’t look like a little girl,” yet another commenter wrote.
However, some jumped to Kim’s defence. “Kim isn’t wearing earrings, so I assume she took hers off to let North wear them for fun. She (North) probably asked. Her ear will be fine bc she probably didn’t have them on long,” one commented. “Y’all do realise she’s North’s mum and if she allows her to wear hoops oh damn well! Y’all be acting like y’all perfect parents!” another said.
Let’s just leave the parenting decisions up to her parents, shall we?
