So Cute! Watch Khloe Kardashian Give Daughter True a Lesson in Self-Love
Starting early! Khloé Kardashian is teaching her 11-month-old daughter, True, how to do positive affirmations in the mirror, and she showed the self-love lesson off on Instagram.
“Do you love yourself?” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 34, asked her baby girl from behind the camera on Thursday, April 4. “Do you say, ‘I am so beautiful.’ Look, say, ‘I am so happy. Yes, I love myself. I am so strong.’ What else do you say in the mirror?”
In the video, True giggled and babbled while playing with her reflection. The little one, who was wearing a black floral swimsuit, even gave the mirror a kiss.
“PRECIOUS GIRL!” Kris Jenner commented on the footage.
The Strong Looks Better Naked author has been practicing this with her daughter for awhile now, telling Refinery29 in December 2018, “I do affirmations with True every single day. She’s only a few months old, but we stand in the mirror and I say something to her reflection, and I pretend she’s saying it back to herself.”
Kardashian said that this was important to her because, “No matter the criticism I’ve received in my life, I’ve never believed any of it, because my family made me feel otherwise.”
The reality star welcomed True with Tristan Thompson in April 2018, just days after news broke that the professional basketball player, 28, had been unfaithful to her with multiple women.
The couple stayed together, ultimately splitting in February when the athlete cheated on Kardashian with Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods.
“He is a good dad to [our daughter],” the Revenge Body cohost wrote on Twitter the following month. “My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that.”
